Sole De-Yellowing

Sole yellowing is the single most common issue on older and vintage pairs — a chemical change in the rubber from UV exposure over time, not dirt, and not something a clean can fix. Our de-yellowing process reverses it properly.

Our process

Unlike a DIY bleach soak — which can leave rubber brittle or cracked with repeated use — we control concentration, exposure time, and rubber condition throughout the process. Different sole compounds respond differently, and we treat each pair individually rather than running one generic process regardless of what's actually needed.

What this won't do

De-yellowing addresses colour, not structural issues. If your pair also has sole separation or cracking, that needs our Full Restoration service, which includes rebonding.

Will the yellowing come back? Sole yellowing is caused by ongoing UV exposure, so pairs kept in bright light will yellow again over time — proper storage significantly slows this.
