Restoration
Restoration is a different job to cleaning — it's for pairs that need real work, not just a wash. Sole yellowing, structural damage, faded colour, and general age are all addressable with the right process.
Sole de-yellowing
UV exposure and age turn white and translucent soles yellow over time — the single most common issue on older and vintage pairs. Our de-yellowing process reverses this properly, not with a bleach shortcut that damages the rubber, with before and after photos so you can see the actual result.
Rebonding & structural repair
Sole separation and structural wear are genuinely fixable, not a reason to retire a pair. We rebond and repair so the shoe is actually wearable again, not just cosmetically patched.
Dye & colour correction
Faded, sun-damaged, or unevenly worn colour can be corrected to bring a pair back close to its original finish — useful for both personal collections and pairs being prepared for resale.
Vintage & deadstock revival
For genuinely old or long-stored pairs, restoration often means addressing several issues at once — sole condition, material stiffness, colour, general wear — as a single considered project rather than a checklist of individual fixes.
What this looks like in practice
A member inherits a pair of deadstock trainers from the early 2000s, stored but badly yellowed and stiff. Full restoration addresses the sole colour, softens and conditions the materials, and returns a pair that's genuinely wearable again rather than a museum piece too fragile to touch.
